This policy explains what information Selfie Cork LLC (“Selfie Cork”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit selfiecork.com or place an order, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
What we collect
When you place an order: your name, email address, shipping address, billing address and phone number if you provide one. Payment card details are entered directly into our payment processor and are never received or stored by us.
When you contact us: your name, email address and whatever you write in your message.
When you subscribe to emails: your email address.
Automatically, when you browse: your IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring page, the pages you view and how long you spend on them. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Why we collect it
To fulfil your order — process payment, ship your item, send confirmation and tracking, and handle returns.
To answer you when you get in touch.
To send marketing email, but only if you have opted in. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
To understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.
To meet legal and tax obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.
We share only what is necessary, only with service providers who help us run the business: Squarespace, which hosts this website and our online store; Stripe and PayPal, which process payments and receive your payment details directly; shipping carriers, which receive your name and delivery address in order to deliver your order; Google Analytics and Meta, which receive usage data about how visitors interact with the site; and our email provider, if you have subscribed to marketing email.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies
We use cookies that are strictly necessary to run the shop — keeping items in your cart and letting you check out. We also use analytics and advertising cookies to understand site usage and measure marketing.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the cart and checkout from working.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes, normally seven years. Marketing subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained on the standard schedule of the analytics provider.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what personal information we hold about you, correct it if it’s wrong, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Email info@selfiecork.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale. As stated above, we do not sell personal information. Exercising these rights will never result in worse service or pricing.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and payment processing is handled by PCI-compliant providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
